Responding to an environmental disaster should happen before and during, and most importantly, continue after any risk exposure.  Through using structural and non-structural measures, as well as through our holistic approach, we aim to prevent hazards completely and to mitigate or limit the adverse effects of hazards on people and resources that may be a result of a natural or unexpected event.
